Another day of quarantine but thankfully it was my last. We didn’t get the results until late afternoon but the time flew by cleaning the house. I even reprised my teenage years of window cleaning the lounge doors in the warm, sheltered sunshine.
The work of the morning was rewarded with some family time on a doggie walk for an hour. It was a great relief for us to do this again even if the wait was only a couple of days. I celebrated with a short spin up to the shop afterwards. The air flowing through those gaps in my lid was reassuring. Yes, we could have our lives back.
I am not altogether sure why I was worried. Was it because a diagnosis of the C word put Mrs B2W in mortal danger? Was it because our lives would continue in one dimensional boredom for another couple of weeks? Was it because I would be off the bike with no way of getting my rear hubs fixed while I forced off the bike? Yes, all of the above but mainly the first one. I am so relieved, mainly for the first one.
